Summary

Sony’s favourite purple dragon returns for his second 3D adventure in Spyro 2: Gateway To Glimmer. Once again, you get to control your favourite dragon and explore a brand new hoard of crystal ridden levels.

Crystals are the key here, and certain level of searching is required if you are bent on finding them all. Some are plain to see, others are well hidden, but you will have to spend a bit of time if you wan to excel yourself. If you just want to progress your way through as quickly as possible, then you may do so, just as long as you fulfill the conditions to get to the next level.

Spyro himself hasn’t changes a bit, he can still glide, he still breathes fire. For those of you familiar with the original Spyro, there are many playing elements that have been retained. Becasue of this, Spyro 2 will appeal to both old and new fans. Spyro’s visuals have been improved quite a bit since his first outing, as he now runs with a smoother frame rate, and more detailed textures.

Not much here has been changed. But as they say, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”
