Summary

Everyone, everywhere, without any exception whatsoever loves giant robots. It's a well established fact. Well, not a fact as such, but we're going to go out on a limb and say that if you own a PS3 then there's a reasonable chance that you like giant robots. There's also a good chance you like anime. In which case, Mobile Suit Gundam: Target In Sight may well be finding its way into your games collection.

Based on the popular Mobile Suit Gundam anime series, this latest installation in the series from Namco Bandai throws gamers into a world of struggle, violence and robot suits the size of buildings.

The year is 0079 U.C. (which is the near future, we're told) and mankind is, by and large, living in space, high above the Earth. As colonies begin to head deeper into space, tensions begin to emerge between The Earth Federation (the boss-guys) and the Principality of Zeon. When the tension reaches breaking point, things get nasty, and 'The One Year War' begins. It's in the latter part of this conflict that you step into with your over-sized robot outfit.

There are over 30 different kinds of suit up for grabs from both the Earth Federation and the Principality of Zeon. If just choosing your suit isn't enough, you'll be able to buy both defensive and offensive upgrades in what we're calling the 'Pimp My Gundam' aspect of the game.

Once you're good to go, you'll be dropped into a range of frenetic combat situations, where death comes fast and teamwork is key.
