Summary

Burn Zombie Burn became a highlight on the PlayStation Network when it was launched on via the digital distribution service in 2009; offering madcap arcade fun featuring everybody's favourite fantasy pastime: killing zombies in ridiculous and entertaining ways. Now the game is hitting the boxed PC market to emulate the same success as it has on the PS3.

The game stars Bruce (an obvious reference to Bruce Campbell of Evil Dead fame), a typical bloke who normally wouldn't be considered your usual undead-destroying superhero. Attempting to spend his Saturday night with his girlfriend Daisy is apparently too much to ask for the walking dead, as his evening is soon ruined by packs of zombies. So Bruce does what any sane average-man does – goes postal on them with any weapons he has to hand.

Running-and-gunning is the key to survival in Burn Zombie Burn, as Bruce is able to equip himself with a vast array of guns, explosives and – of course – fire-based weapons to take a seemingly endless wave of zombies out. Gameplay modes from past releases make their way into this PC version – Freeplay, Defend Daisy and Timed – but there is also a brand new Survival mode. Here, you're faced with an ever-increasing number of zombies onscreen in a test of accuracy.

What's more, an additional Extreme difficulty mode will seek to truly test your nerves and wit against the undead, as harder enemies now come baying for your blood.
