Summary

Before Charlie Brooker went and borrowed the name for his TV anthology series, Black Mirror was a trilogy of gothic horror games in the classic point and click adventure mold. Now, with adventure games having moved on a few leaps thanks to the likes of Telltale Games, THQ Nordic and King Art Entertainment have returned to the series to reinvent it for a new generation of gamers and horror fans.

Like the original trilogy, this is a game that basks in the dark atmosphere and psychological distress that proved such a hit last time out. When his father dies under mysterious circumstances, David Gordon must return to his ancestral home, Black Mirror House, to discuss his heritage. With a name like that, how could you possibly expect anything to go wrong...?

The point and click gameplay of the original games is back in full force, with players getting up close and personal with their environment to investigate the strange events unfolding around them. And then there are the nightmarish visions plaguing David Gordon, which will need dealing with if you want to win the day.

If you like unknowable Lovecraftian horror with a dash of psychological torment, Black Mirror will be right up your very strange street...
