Dallas based Ritual were formally know as Hipnotic Interactive. Ritual was founded in 1996 by former employees of 3D Realms to develop a Quake Mission pack - Scourge of Armagon.
In 1997 the company renamed itself Ritual, and went on to produce the best selling SiN and Heavy Metal FAKK 2.
Software Highlights from Credited Titles
Ritual Entertainment's first work that SPOnG is aware of is the 1997 title, "Quake Mission Pak 1: Scourge of Armagon" (PC).
The company has been involved titles released on the PC, Power Mac and Xbox. Of these, "Star Trek: Elite Force II" (PC) has been a best selling title.
The company's most recent involvement was on the 2006 release "SiN Episode 1: Emergence" (PC).
