Summary

Whoo-haagh! Ahem, please excuse me. My usual reliable English reserve has given way to that most unusually liberating feeling of not giving a damn about anything but causing mayhem. An average Friday night out? No sir, I'm under the influence of Destruction Derby 2.

This is a fine no-brainer of a racing game which has aged surprisingly well. There are three types of racing, but the clue is in the title. The modes don't have an awful lot of variety, but there are plenty of courses to race around and cause as much bother as possible, and the sense of momentum is right there. It's just a bit of a shame that DD2 isn't compatible with vibration function.

You always have nineteen opponents against you whichever type of race you're in, so the scope for maximum chaos is broad. Did I forget to mention that it's great fun too?
