Jeremy McGrath Supercross 2000 utilises an all-new racing engine, which features state-of-the-art graphics, physics and motion. Gamers will be able to race as or against the legendary Supercross champion Jeremy "Showtime" McGrath, John Dowd, Greg Albertyn, Sebastian Tortelli, and other superstar riders on a full season circuit using 125cc and 250cc bikes. Jeremy McGrath Supercross 2000 also features eight supercross stadium courses, eight licensed motocross tracks, a custom 3D track editor, motion-captured riders, authentically designed race leathers and bike designs; and, in a genius balance-tipping move, an over-the-top stunt competition.

Now, we all know how much fun it is to twist the throttle and fly over the humps and bumps of a motocross circuit, but the stunt competition is where this title beats similar games hands down. Physics and logic take a flyer, way over the handlebars, and end up face down in the dirt. It's a scream, right up there with some of the other extreme sports games on the market, such as Sled Storm or the Tony Hawk skateboard titles.

McGrath himself is something of an avid gamer, according to his biography, and worked as a consultant to the developers of this title. His huge experience and know-how was called upon to provide insight into track design, racing strategies and bike physics. The game also features commentary and racing tips from McGrath as players motor around indoor and outdoor circuits.

Jeremy McGrath Supercross 2000 is a down and dirty racing experience of mercurial revs, and if you can't see that it's vastly superior to other titles in the genre, you have too much mud on your visor.
