Summary

Spacestation Silicon Valley is a funny and original game for the Gameboy Color. It makes a pleasant change to see a game not take itself so seriously. People generally like to laugh and be amused, so comedy is a nice attribute for a video game to possess. Originality is another important quality, many times the first game in a series stands out because the idea hasn’t been implemented before.

Launched in 2004, the giant Spacestation vanished after just seven minutes in orbit. The massive experiment in artificial life and evolution was lost for over a 1000 years, until one day it mysteriously returns to our solar system. Every squadron of soldiers that was sent to investigate was lost. Enter our heroes Dan and Evo, friendly, cheap and expendable. What has happened to the Spacestation and more importantly, who is controlling it?

This game has plenty of puzzles to solve. One great gameplay idea is that Evo can possess and take control of the different animals that inhabit the station. Each robotic animal has different skills and characteristics that are suited to particular circumstances and puzzles. When all the mission objectives are completed you can explore the control room and solve this mystery.
