Summary

Aimed directly at KISS fans, Psycho Circus is a first person shooter consistent with Todd McFarlane’s infamous KISS Psycho Circus comics. Now his frightening comics have come to life in this brand new PC freak show.

As one of the many first person shooters available, you may be wondering how this is going to differ from any of the other titles. Storyline aside, KISS doesn’t really differ in terms of game play dynamics. Visuals are, as you would expect, of a high quality, allowing you to view 32-bit resolutions of up to 1280 x 1024. In game controls are made up of the standard mouse and keyboard configuration for ease of playability.

Psycho Circus consists of many 3D environments, swarming with gruesome monsters and freaks of nature, all of which have been conceived by the “Nightmare Child,” a nemesis you have the gruelling task of destroying. Psycho Circus should prove an appropriate challenge, depending on your chosen difficulty level. Also, you can choose from one of four members of the band, all of whom begin in entirely different locations; this contributes greatly to the initial variety of the game.

If you’re a fan of KISS, or you enjoy playing first person shooters, then KISS Psycho Circus comes recommended. If you don’t like clowns or have read Stephen King’s “IT,” stay away.
