Summary

The Eastern game of Shanghai, although never a mainstream genre by any means, is a thoroughly addictive tabletop game. In its purest form, players are given a board of tiles that are stacked on four layers, the objective being to clear the table by matching available pairs of tiles. The only problem is that you can only take tiles with a free space to the left or right of the respective tile. It's as tricky as it sounds, and you're never guaranteed to complete a game. In that respect it's similar to the card game Solitaire.

But Shanghai: Second Dynasty extends its tile-matching puzzle and traditional Mahjongg game empire with 10 new and classic games. You'll be able to pair up tiles as fast as lightning in Classic Shanghai, battle and build in Dynasty and try to predict the ever-changing winds in the all-new Windstorm.

An official product of the American Mahjongg Association, Shanghai: Second Dynasty offers four versions of the world-renowned four-player game of Mahjongg, including Chinese, Japanese, Western and the computer game premiere of American Mahjongg.

So the tradition of addictive tile-matching fun lives on. And rightly so, too!
