Summary

Bugged by a series of delays, Heavy Metal Geomatrix has finally hit the shelves for Dreamcast.

Continuing Capcom’s long legacy of memorable and unique character development, Heavy Metal: Geomatrix features 12 characters designed by Heavy Metal artist, Simon Bisley.

Not a one-on-one traditional beat-em-up, a game of Geomatrix entails the player choosing one of four teams, each with three fighters. These newly created characters include Hound, the head honcho of a group called the 818 Stompers, the expectedly strong character named Zeus, and Slash, a nasty nail-clawed woman. Other teams include The 911 Elite Team, 707 Metal Heads and The 323 Agents.

Players are armed with numerous offensive weapons that include swords, firearms, booby traps and deadly bazookas. Some are short-range weapons, some have great reach, but in the end, it all adds to the strategy of Geomatrix. Once you’re ready, get stuck into the game and prepare from some intense combat action.

It’s fun, it has strategy but it’s not too complicated, and most importantly, Heavy Metal: Geomatrix is very addictive. And that’s all we ask.
