Dexter's Laboratory: Robot Rampage - Game Boy Color

I, Dexter, boy genius am proud to be starring in my own video game. Allow me to introduce you to Robot Rampage on the Game Boy Color. The evil Mandark is up to no good as usual and it up to me to put a stop to his plans. It’s time to slip into the spy suit and begin the adventure.

Robot Rampage is essentially an update to the popular classic arcade game, Elevator Action. The idea is to descend through the levels taking out the robots as you go. There are two main ways you can make progress, either down the elevators or you can use the stairs. The robots will be shooting at you so you must learn how to avoid their attacks. Luckily, you are armed with a pistol.

There are a few tricks to learn such as riding the top of elevators, diving into rooms to avoid fire and shooting out the lights. A couple of levels in and you’ll have to rely on quick thinking and reflexes.

The gameplay is simple, but that works in Robot Rampage’s favour. It is an easy to learn, fun title and there is nothing wrong with that.
