Summary
Some of the most significant developments in the first-person shooter genre have made it onto a single compilation titled Lock and Load. Consisting of five classic FPS games, including Spec Ops 2 and the Operation Bravo expansion pack, this bundle of joy is something gun-crazy PC owners will relish.
The 1999 release of Spec Ops 2 and the expansion pack are more strategy-orientated. All games consist of a series of missions spread across a variety of campaigns. Spec Ops 2 and Operation Bravo have a modern day atmosphere, while Sin, King Pin and Soldier of Fortune are more sinister and gruesome action-orientated games. These five games are equally atmospheric and the styles of gameplay are very similar. All are partially based upon stealth strategies, so a considerate and cautious approach is necessary.
The individual qualities of these games mean that the Lock and Load compilation has plenty of variety, stunning gameplay and is great value for money.
