Summary

When people think of videogame mascots, Mario and Sonic immediately spring to mind. But, Ubisoft have thrown a new contender into the ring, Rayman. Rayman has already starred in a classic 2D cartoon platformer, a 3D sequel, and a multi-player orientated battle, racing fest. Each outing earning him more respect with the gaming community, playability reigning supreme each time. Rayman 2 Forever for the Game Boy Color continues the Rayman adventure with a continuation of the original PlayStation title.

How does the idea of 36 levels of fun gameplay grab you? This is just one of the features that Forever offers, extra levels for the original game. Of course, the extra levels bring brand new graphics and environments with them. The game follows the same colourful path as its predecessors. The bosses return with all their vengeance and in Forever there are four new boss characters to conquer.

Rayman 2 Forever combines the first Rayman adventure with characters and enemies from the 3D sequel. The Lums need rescuing once again, there are 800 of them spread over the 36 levels. To fully complete the game, players need to explore every square inch of the levels to find those trickily hidden Lums.

Rayman pushes the platform game to its limits, levels include travelling right to left, constantly moving levels, upwardly scrolling levels and many more variations on standard themes. New objects such as switches, and barrels add a dimension to the puzzle solving element of Forever.

Portable platform adventuring with Rayman, don’t miss out on playing this hot title.
