Summary

Rally Championship Xtreme puts you right in the driving seat of a state-of-the-art rally car. From the searing heat of Africa to the frozen lakes of the Arctic, you will have to drive like a demon to overcome the competition.

Like any early 21st century game worthy of your time, Rally Championship Xtreme is chock-full of unlockable tracks and cars: you have to work at this game to get the best out of it, that’s for sure.

Quick Play Mode begins initially with just one course available – the Scottish rally. An ideal place to start (let’s face it, you don’t have a choice) the Scottish rally is designed to ease you into Rally Championship Xtreme’s handling characteristics. Once familiar with the controls and idiosyncrasies of your car, you’re ready to roll into the more fulfilling Championship Mode, scoring as many points as possible after six rallies in order to progress. Then there’s Challenge Mode, similar to Championship in most ways, but with one major difference: the fact that you have to buy your own car in order to compete. You start out with a sum of money to make your initial purchase. Then it’s up to you and your driving skills to earn as much prize money as possible. There is also an Arcade Mode for those who like to have a time limit to drive to, and Multi-player, where you can race online or play over a network.

Race a full championship, face the extra hurdles in Challenge Mode, or have a blast in Arcade Mode. The choice is yours. Whichever you choose, you’ll have a ball. Rally Championship Xtreme rocks!
