Summary

If the idea of tearing through the countryside at high speeds has a certain appeal to you, read on. If the racing gene is strong in your bloodline and the thrill of victory dominates your life, this is the game for you.

Off road racing is one of the best extreme motor sports to get the adrenaline gland racing into overdrive. With ATV Off Road Fury on the PSP you can take to the driver seat and see if you have what it takes to be the off road champion. The competition is tough, but would you have it any other way?

Developers Rainbow Studios have gone to great lengths to ensure the physics model in Off-Road Fury is as accurate as humanly possible. This pain staking attention to detail gives Off Road Fury a fantastic feel and adds to the playability. If events in the game do not match up to what you expect to happen, then it is hard to learn how to play it. This is not the case with Off Road Fury, the handling of the ATV’s is spot on.

The graphics in Fury are definitely one of the selling points, the environments are well textured and massive. There is practically no pop-up and the track layout and design has been well thought-out. The gameplay benefits from the addition of mid-air tricks and you can even squash the computer riders if you land on them. Very funny, you can almost smell their fear as you descend through the air revving your engine.

ATV Off Road Fury is one of the best off-road games around on the PSP, its balance of gameplay and graphics is right. One of the better racers on Sony's handheld.
