Summary

Risk II
Risk II adds a whole new set of challenges that allow the game to be played simultaneously by one or more players. It also features a 3D battle arena that presents each of the game’s 48 territories as a theatre of war.

The all-new interface has been designed to make the game flow at the player’s own pace and, with the addition of the ‘globe-view’, players can now play God on a worldwide scale.

In addition, the I-Com System allows players to talk to each other without concern for nationality or language.

Monopoly
The history of board games dates back many, many years. The popularity of the social game genre was huge, especially when you consider the lack of small scale, table-top entertainment in the early 20th century. Giving players a chance to meddle with fictional finances, Monopoly proved to be one of the most popular board games around. Decades later, it's still touted as one of the all time classics of the board game. Monopoly’s delve into the world of interactive entertainment proves just as popular as the original.

Sorting the board pieces, flimsy paper money and property cards after a game of Monopoly was always a monotonous task. The PC instalment of the series disposes of this. While this may appear to be an irrelevant feature of the game, ironically, it sometimes proves to be the most attractive prospect to the general game-playing public. The international name of the game has also been well incorporated, since you can play the boards of any one of twelve countries, from Germany to Australia. The rules of Monopoly can also be tampered with, allowing for a quick, non-complicated short game. The world of Monopoly is wonderfully animated, and with 6-player multiplayer over the Internet, this is the most comprehensive version of the classic board game to date.

Cluedo
After a murder takes place (typical) at Blackwell Range, you are called upon to solve the mysterious events at the mansion. You must determine who did the crime, where the crime took place and what was used as the murder weapon.

Your challenge as a detective will include some classic Cluedo gameplay incorporated into a highly atmospheric and interactive game. Your journey will have you searching for clues and examining any findings. Cluedo takes place mostly in the house where the murder was committed, creating a chilling atmosphere. Environments are beautifully rendered, featuring all characters from the original board game in full 3D. Colonel Mustard and the delectable Miss Scarlett are some of the game’s more memorable characters, but everyone is a suspect and you must remain faithful to your duties as a detective.

A multi-player option over LAN offers something new to Cluedo that only a video game can accomplish. Whether your playing head to head or co-operatively, the experience makes the game much more sociable and enjoyable. And it’s quite possible that this gameplay addition alone makes Cluedo: Murder at Blackwell Grange a thoroughly playable experience.
