Sentinel: Descendants in Time - PC

Many centuries ago, the ancient but highly advanced Tastan civilisation became extinct. The last legacy of these people, about whom nothing is known, are the mysterious Tastan Caverns. You must take control of Beni, an explorer after the many riches and knowledge that could be within.

Developed by Detalion, creators of the Schizm adventure series, the game is in fact a series of mind-bending puzzles, ranging form easy to hard. There are more than 20 of these puzzles and they take place across eight beautifully detailed environments, with mountains and volcanoes and suchlike. The game takes a non-linear stance, and further complication is added by the inclusion of a mysterious female holographic sentinel. Though she at first seems benign, it soon seems that she has her own agenda to push. Could she in fact be hellbent on your destruction!?

A series of hints and mysterious magic orbs add another dimension to the gameplay, which offers pretty graphics too, despite relatively modest system requirements. Puzzle fans with a PC looking for an adventure game just that little bit different might want to check this out. more
