Summary

In Dungeon Siege II, you destroyed Valdis, and unleashed an unspeakable abomination that has waited a thousand years for its freedom. As darkness descends upon the land, fiends such as Bound Elves, Familiars and other monstrosities destroy any who stand against them. You must wage war against a host of horrors in a last, desperate bid to save Aranna.

Dungeon Siege II: Broken World feels like a completely new adventure, such is the wealth of content in this expansion: new powers, monsters and treasure add so much to the depth of gameplay. Broken World features a new act that concludes the story of the game. This act is a new map, and only parties that have defeated Valdis in the original Dungeon Siege II can enter it. You can import a party of your own from the main game, or choose from a selection of pre-generated heroes. There are two new playable classes, the Blood Assassin and Fist of Stone, to elevate the gameplay to new heights. The Dwarves are back by popular demand, and new reagent recipes allow you to create unique and powerful items.

With a copy of the full version of Dungeon Siege II required to enjoy Broken World, the expansion arrives bearing a welcome bargain price tag, but doesn't skimp on content. There's somewhere between 10 and 15 hours gameplay to play through - enough for any virtual warrior, any day of the week.
