Summary

World of Warcraft is a time-sink, to be sure. That’s because the game is so well crafted, the community so inviting and the world so appealing that you don’t mind spending hours at a time trying to level up your dwarf to an absurd degree just to try and get that special rare item. The original WoW has been going for several years now, and just when you thought it was safe to maybe put the game disc down, Blizzard has gone and introduced a whole new chapter with the add-on pack Cataclysm.

In this exciting new saga in the WoW universe, the corrupted Dragon Aspect Deathwing has awakened from his underground slumber and decides to cause destruction above ground. The effects are devastating - cities are ruined and the world becomes scorched. Azeroth is being changed forever, and all hope seems lost.

The Horde and the Alliance both see a common threat, and race to the epicenter of the cataclysm to see what can be done to stop the seismic shifts from truly destroying the world beyond repair. Amidst the chaos, a group of unlikely heroes surface to try and protect their broken planet from further devastation. And you’ll do this with a bunch of brand new content and features, while being given the opportunity to experience Azeroth in a completely different light.
