Summary

Flips uses the DS touch screen and stylus to enable children to read and interact by combining the world of storytelling with quizzes and references to characters, encouraging greater concentration and incentive to finish every chapter. Within the books, links appear to give the reader a unique way of interacting with the story and enhancing their experience - not to mention allowing them to carry numerous books around in a tiny little package.

Cathy Cassidy wrote and illustrated her first book at eight years old for her little brother and has been writing and drawing ever since.

Cathy has worked as an editor on Jackie magazine, a teacher and as agony aunt on Shout Magazine. In her young adult books, Cassidy deals with the trials and tribulations facing young people in their everyday lives and brings a little romance to the page.

The Cathy Cassidy collection exclusive to Nintendo DS and DSi includes six interactive versions of her popular girl’s fiction books on one game card: Angel Cake; Scarlett; Shine on Daizy Star; Ginger Snaps; Sundae Girl and Driftwood.

As well as six complete books you get quizzes, games, activities, amazing unlockable extras and the option to share a chapter with a friend! Reading has never been quite so cool!
