Summary

Ninjas versus zombies! Sounds like a winning formula, eh? What you've basically got with Ninja Blade is the explosive combat of Ninja Gaiden mixed with the cool cinematic interactive cutscenes of Heavenly Sword, a dab of the platforming you love from Prince of Persia and a spot of the monster ugliness served up by Resident Evil. It's not, of course, an entirely original idea, but that doesn't make it bad!

Things have gotten pretty bad in Tokyo. The city is, after all, famed for its monster problems. When a horrifying disease breaks out, turning ordinary people into monsters, it's up to Ken Ogawa and his elite team of modern day Ninjas to make their way through Tokyo's bright yet forbidding urban landscape and stem the tide of disease.

Players will have a wealth of different tools to help them through. There's 'Ninja Vision', which highlights weak spots and pathways, 'Todome', a special attack that takes out the enemy's core with a fatal blow, and even 'Ninjutsu', a special move that unleashes a blast of electrical force to either wound your foes or protect you from harm.

The landscape will also force players to make strategic decisions about which weapons to use. There are choices ranging from dual wielding swords to grappling hooks to grenades! Each brings its own distinct advantages, so you'll need to choose wisely...

Like we said, ninjas versus zombies! Whoever wins, we do.
