Summary

Three Roman strategy games in one box!

Imperium Romanum

The future of the empire is in your hands in Imperium Romanum, a historical strategy experience from Haemimont Games. Imperium Romanum sees the player take the role of a governor of a Roman province and strive to build a well-organised and thriving settlement.

Set in the time of the Roman Empire, players will marvel at the incredible attention to detail, as they construct fortifications, build towers, gates and bridges, and pay for them with the new currency which has been implemented into the game for a challenging, enjoyable and authentic quest to rule the World.

Imperium Romanum boasts a variety of features to enhance the gameplay and complete the historical strategy gaming experience. These include a sophisticated graphics engine, a mass of authentic historical buildings such as the world famous Circus Maximus and Gladiator schools, an improved battle system where the player commands their armies, and an interactive mission mode which allows the player to control the activation of goals.

Grand Ages: Rome

"There once was a dream that was Rome..." Remember those words? That was Maximus talking in Gladiator. For us modern folk, dream is certainly the right word. With the work of Haemimont Games, however, Rome is now less a dream than a place you can explore and control. Following in the footsteps of Imperium Romanum under Kalypso Media's new Grand Ages brand is Grand Ages: Rome.

If you missed the first game in the series, players build their own character, a Patrician, a nobleman, just starting out in his career as a politician.

As players progress, they will come across famous historical figures such as Julius Caesar, Pompey and Octavian - patrons who will offer the player additional objectives and whose influence will carry through not just the campaign, but also through free play and multi-player modes.

Imperium Romanum: Emperor Expansion

Last but not least, the add-on Imperium Romanum: Emperor Expansion leads the player on a journey through ancient times: from cold Britain to wild Germania and the reproductive riverside of the Nile in ancient Egypt. 4 new campaigns offer 16 challenging missions at historical sites as Aque Sulis (Bath), the Hadrian’s Wall, Massilia and Treverorum (Trier). They demand all the military and economical skills of an experienced governor.

On top of that, Emperor Expansion is not only about strategic skills but also obliges the player to deal with religion and roman gods.

The add-on includes four campaigns with four missions each, new and bigger maps, newly designed buildings, new tasks, and extended voice recordings.
