Summary

Batman is quite the effective criminal-beater when he's on his own, but even he needs a little help from his friends sometimes. The Brave and the Bold cartoon series has been a hit with kids the world over, thanks to its exciting stories and DC Comics crossovers with fellow characters Robin, Green Lantern and Blue Beetle.

All four characters can be played in the single-player or the co-operative two-player story mode which will see the iconic heroes travel through various cartoony worlds to save the known universe. The crime-filled alleyways of Gotham City, alien planets, abandoned underground cities and mysterious laboratories – all of these are waiting for players to explore, and each stage is filled with bad guys and tricky obstacles to overcome.

You won't be fighting along either, along the way you can earn the assistance of various drop-in heroes from other DC Comics. These include characters such as Aquaman, who will help you beat up your foes more easily. Adding to the cartoon feel of the game is the inclusion of some crazy and iconic gadgets, such as Batman's Batarangs and Grapnel Gun.

Better yet, if you own both the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS versions of the game, you can link them up and get even more bonuses! Bat-mite appears as a secret playable character, while the Nintendo DS can be used as a controller in the Wii adventure mode. Get your favourite supersuit on and go bust some crime!
