Summary

Contact sport is rather exhilarating, isn’t it? And none more so than Mixed Martial Arts, or MMA for short. Why? It’s simply down to variety and diversity - it’s a clash of many different kinds of fighting styles, and a true test to see who has the power, skill and stamina to overcome the most versatile of grappling warriors.

505 Games has teamed up with developer Kung Fu Factory to deliver an MMA experience that matches the drama and excitement you see on the TV screen. Formed of developers who previously worked on Ultimate Fighting Championship on the Sega Dreamcast, and recently UFC Undisputed 2009, Supremacy MMA has more than enough pedigree to warrant the full attention of a dedicated sports fan.

For the first time, female fighters can compete in MMA matches and tournaments in Supremacy - “Lil Dog” Felice Herrig and Michele “Diablita” Gutierrez join male counterparts Jens Pulver and Jack Saxon to provide the most diverse character roster yet seen in an MMA title.

Adding to the authenticity of the game are stunningly rendered combat environments - from the traditional arena to more abstract locations such as strip joints and slaughterhouses - as well as a soundtrack from cult label Victory Records. The songs from the label include Taproot’s Stolage, Destrophy’s Reconnect and Emmure’s 10 Signs You Should Leave, rounding off an explosive fighting experience.
