The mystery of the RHEM is seemingly never-ending. The series has been going for a good few years now, and has offered players a first-person puzzle experience not unlike that of Myst and Riven. Trapped on a mysterious island, you play as lead character Kales and have to overcome various logical puzzles and explore the vast surroundings in order to progress.
But it's not so easy to do that. Following the events that took place in RHEM 3: The Secret Library, RHEM 4 offers a whole new area of the island to investigate and journey through, with another round of brain-teasers and problem-solving to engage in. Surely by now Kales is beginning to wish he never bothered with this land mass in the first place.
The upside is that Kales can now begin to search for an exit from the RHEM something that has been forbidden in the series until now. This realisation is made possible after discovering a secret transport system, but said transport system is not working. To gain access, you will need to help Kales collect parts of a key.
And so you're on your own, once more, to deal with a huge fantastical world full of strange vehicles and buildings, unknown mechanisms and machines, secret passages and doorways. New characters await you, and some may even help you on your quest to help solve the big mystery of RHEM once and for all.
