Summary

The Ghost Recon series returns with this action-packed military experience on the PlayStation Portable. Set in the jungles of Sri Lanka, you lead a squad of Ghosts tasked with paving the way for a US invasion force. The only problem – and it's pretty big as far as problems go – is that the Ghosts discover that America is on the cusp of declaring war with falsified information.

The consequences of launching a full-scale assault against the wrong enemy would be devastating. So it's a race against time to make sure the country doesn't fall foul to an unpredictable and destructive war. You'll do this by going through the traditional special-ops routine – infiltrate enemy lines and silently take out the insurgents responsible before the situation gets out of hand.

It won't be easy though. You're challenging the enemy on his own turf, which means that every nook, cranny and vantage point is known to them before you even have a chance to take point. Insurgents have more allies on their side and can use the terrain – and the social surroundings – to great effect.

In a crowded street, your foe could be absolutely anyone, and its on your head to ascertain key threats out of a pack of civilians. However, you won't be completely alone, thanks to the equipment and weapons you have at your disposal. Various pieces of tech and gadgets can help you survey areas and get the jump on an enemy, and intel from central command is always informing you on your surroundings.
