Summary

Apache: Air Assault puts the gamer in command of the legendary Boeing AH-64 Apache assault helicopter as they make their way through 16 multi-stage missions all over the world.

The game actually sees the player doing more than air combat in such locations as the African coast, the mountains of the Middle East and Central American jungles.

There are both air and ground missions to undertake in environments that were created using high resolution map data from real-life satellite photography. The landscape is, in fact, nearly as detailed as the damage modelling.

Apache: Air Assault has several game modes from the fun, beginner's Arcade Mode in which the gamer can get quickly used to the controls and experience combat.

This levels up to 'Realistic Mode' in which the true depth of the game is highlighted. In this mode players have know how to control their chopper, when and where to deploy its impressive arsenal of weaponry.

A local Co-op Campaign Mode is also avaible wherein two players join forces as pilot and co-pilot in order to complete missions and prepare for the challenge of online multiplayer.

This sees players can then take the experience online with for full-on multiplayer modes Team Deathmatch, Ground Attack, Capture the LZ, and Ground Strike.
