Summary
Death Road. It’s a name that instills fear into the hearts of many. At least, it does in the future. For in the future, technology has advanced so far that the human race has figured out how to lift cars from the ground. We’re all pootling around in hovering vehicles - and when we’re not pootling, we’re racing at mach speed to see who can break the sound barrier the quickest.
That’s why Death Road commands such attention in the future - because it is the premier place for next-generation humans to pit themselves against one another in vehicular racing combat. Yep, that’s right - combat. You’re not only speeding around on specially designed tracks in a bout for pole position, but you’re also tasked with gunning down anyone that stands in your way.
Laser guns and tactical nukes are just some of the six weapon types you’ll be able to find in Death Road, along with additional powerups to augment them. And you’ll need all the help you can get, as a hefty 55-event single-player campaign mode will test even the most hardened racing fan. And when you’re done, face fellow humans in a multiplayer mode for up to eight players.
