Summary

Take over a dilapidated ailing circus and work towards transforming it into a premier world class attraction. Your circus has been badly neglected by its previous owner and has been sold to you for a song, but it is not yet singing to your tune!

Hire staff and craft your own performances. As your reputation grows, so will your income. Will you upgrade your tent or invest in more skilled performers or will you purchase amenities such as refreshment stalls and gift shops for your audiences?

Using custom artificial intelligence specially created for Circus World - the "Appreciation Engine" you can monitor your audience.- The Appreciation engine drives spectator appreciation. If your acts are poor, audience appreciation will be low. If your acts are well received, appreciation will be high. The Appreciation Engine also includes custom facial animations for each spectator, from frowning to smiling, to bewildered to disinterested and body animations such as bored fidgeting or appreciative clapping. In short, the Appreciation Engine brings the audience to life as an indicator of the success of the show. Only a skilled showman will keep the audience enthralled and the dollars rolling into the bank!

The Circus comes to life in full first person 3D, allowing you to explore the circus and its surroundings and view your show from a privileged ringside position. Featuring over 30 types of performer, from jugglers, to clowns, to the high wire act, to bareback horse riders, to elephants and tigers and much more. Each performer is animated in full 3D with literally hundreds of custom animations.

Managing your circus has never been so realistic or so much fun! Will you travel the globe with an awesome attraction or end up clowning around in a field with a tattered tent?

Only the best showmanship skills will sow the seeds of success!
