Summary

Music has always been a key part of the Final Fantasy series, with the composers behind it getting top billing among the games' creators. It's fitting, then, that THEATRHYTHM: FINAL FANTASY: CURTAIN CALL (and, of course, its predecessor) celebrate the music in such fine form.

The game takes favourite tracks from the game's long history and invites players to revisit them in the form of rhythm games. It's presented in a super cute miniaturised art style, with 60 playable characters. Favourites such as Barret (Final Fantasy VII) and Yuna (Final Fantasy X-2) are featured, with spin-off characters such as Benjamin (Final Fantasy Mystic Quest), Ramza (Final Fantasy Tactics) and Zack (Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII-) making their debut too.

Key games featured include golden oldies such as Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children and Final Fantasy Tactics, as well as newer titles to the series such as Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII And Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. There are more than 200 songs in all.

Curtain Call makes the addition of a versus battle mode, for those with a competitive edge. There's also a quest medley mode that sees different tracks mixed up.

For Final Fantasy fans, Curtain Call is a great test of rhythm!
