Summary

Inazuma Eleven is getting to be a yearly event. The odd anime/football/role-playing game mash-up is back with Chrono Stones: Wildfire and Thunderflash. With time travel, the extraction of abilities from dinosaurs and mystical armour, this is probably the maddest game in the series yet.

The stakes couldn't be higher, either. Series hero Arion Sherwind has found that no-one remembers football! Everyone's memory of the beautiful game has been erased by the fiendish time agent Alpha. He's working for the El Dorado council, a malevolent group that's trying to destroy a group of advanced humans, the Hyper-Evolved Children, whose genome is the result of soccer. From there players embark on an epic quest through time across a huge game world, uncovering hidden plots and doing battle with rival teams!

Players will need to put together their winning team from a thousand potential teammates. They might be players from a losing team looking to defect to your team or you might have found them with PalPack cards. Either way, there are only 16 slots to fill, so choose wisely!

Facing off against another team can take two forms - five-a-side, minute-long challenges in which you might have to do something like score first, and full-on 11-a-side matches. You'll control your players with the stylus, but don't forget that this isn't FIFA or PES. As well as the usual fancy footwork, players can use massive, over-the-top special moves that can turn the tide of the match.

Between games you'll be racing about across time and space trying to get the Raimon Jr. High School football team back together. There are also the options to to play against up to three friends in local play and trade around items and characters via SpotPass. You can even activate StreetPass to get team data from other users, then play against their squads.

What are you waiting for? Time is running out!
