Kholat - PC

Kholat is a game developed by independent studio IMGN.PRO, inspired by true events known as the "Dyatlov Pass Incident". We follow the path of a group of Russian students, that went for an expedition in the northern Ural Mountains. The team does not reach its goal, the entire crew dies in mysterious circumstances.

The player is thrown into the area where the tragedy occurred, years after the actual event, with a chance to discover the real course of the tragedy. Of course, the threat is't quite over just yet...

An atmosphere of anxiety and dread is created by the game's fear management system. It is responsible for precise dosing of fear and uncertainty, based on what the player is doing, making each gameplay a unique experience.

The game features narration by famed actor Sean Bean (Game of Thrones, Goldeneye). It's an FPP Horror experience game inspired by true events.

Unlike many horror games, it has an open world map coupled with non-linear gameplay, focused on world exploration and storytelling. It unfolds through a main storyline that has a lot of background plot to be discovered by players.

That's all rounded off with a visual sheen powered by Epic's Unreal Engine 4. more
