Summary

Pokémon Rumble World is packed with Pokémon that players can battle and befriend! All 719 species of Pokémon that have appeared in the video games up to Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire can be discovered and collected. Even Mega-Evolving Pokémon will join the battles, as well as Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre, a first for a game in the Pokémon Rumble series!

The story is set in the Kingdom of Toys, and starts with the player’s character being summoned to see the king. He greets the player’s Personal Mii and explains his frustration at having only one Pikachu. In contrast, he tells of a mysterious magician who has ten Pokémon! The king, upset with this magician, asks your help to turn it up to eleven and to show that magician a thing or two by collecting even more Pokémon. And so our hero, accompanied by the king’s very own Pikachu, departs from Castle Town via a hot-air balloon to get to different areas where wild Toy Pokémon await!

During their adventure players are challenged to befriend and collect as many Pokémon as possible and are rewarded with an increase to their Adventurer Rank. As the player’s Adventurer Rank goes up, the in-game shop will offer more and more exciting items, and the stages will feature stronger and stronger Pokémon.

It's not just Pokémon that will appear in Pokémon Rumble World. Players’ Mii characters will appear in their game, as well as the Mii characters of players they pass! For the first time in the Pokémon Rumble series, Pokémon and Mii characters adventure together. Players can enable this by connecting their Nintendo 3DS or 2DS system to the Internet, activating StreetPass and then Mii characters from near and far are able to visit each other’s game and to provide mutual support in future battles.

To help their progress, players will collect Poké Diamonds along the way, which can make their adventures more fun and ease their mission to discover more Pokémon for the king. They can be exchanged for hot-air balloons rides, select clothes for Mii characters and even to re-inflate faster than usual balloons that have become deflated after use. They can also be used to continue playing in a stage after a Pokémon's HP runs out. There are several ways that players can acquire Poké Diamonds—they’ll receive some at the beginning of the adventure or when speaking to visiting Mii characters who come to the castle town or a stage via StreetPass. In-game purchases are available and allow for quicker progress through the game.

The packaged version includes newly reconfigured features such as Poké Diamonds, the Poké Diamond Digger and VIP Cards, whilst removing the paid content component.
