Summary
If space is the final frontier, virtual reality might be the one that comes just before it. Star Trek: Bridge Crew is your chance to finally step onto the bridge of a Star Fleet ship and take your position as a member of the crew thanks to the power of virtual reality!
With the help of their PlayStation VR headset players can take on one of four roles on the USS Aegis - captain, engineering, tactical and helm. While each of those roles is crucial, it's the combination of all four that will win the day. You can team up with three other players, each playing remotely, or have AI take their seats in a deep storyline or in procedurally generated missions to have your own Star Trek experience.
Set in the continuity of the JJ Abrams movie universe, Star Trek: Bridge Crew has you take on a mission to explore a largely uncharted section of space known as The Trench. Your task? To find a new homeworld for the decimated Vulcan population. You will find wonders as you boldly go, but there's also peril. The region is full of strange anomalies, and the Klingon Empire is active in the region. It will be down to you and your crew to chart this new section of space and determine the Klingons' intentions.
This is your chance to truly boldy go into an a new frontier of gaming.
