Summary

Forza Motorsport is back, and it's promising richer visuals and a deeper set of tracks than ever.

Microsoft has placed the visuals front and centre, with Xbox One X enhanced features ensuring it will run at 60 frames per second with immersive true 4K resolution in HDR. It's not just about graphical fidelity, though. The game is more immersive than ever with shaking cameras and rattling car parts as you get your speed up, putting the breathtaking speed of motorsports front and centre.

There's tons of variety, too. Microsoft is boasting 30 different racing environments with over 200 ribbons, the largest track list we've ever seen in a Forza game. There are upwards of 700 cars to take out on the track, too, including the largest collection of Porsche, Ferrari and Lamborghini models on offer in any racing game. Throw in dynamic race weather (which includes expanding puddles and limited visibility) and you need never drive the same race twice.

There's a new campaign experience in the form of the Forza Driver's Cup, that will see you competing against thousands of drivatars to earn trophies and become the champ.

There's plenty here for fans of multiplayer racing too, with a lot of emphasis put on Esports. Expect new leagues, beam integration and enhanced spectating modes.
