Matt Chilton graduated from Cambridge University with a triple first-class honours degree in maths and computer science and was awarded a senior scholarship. His particular academic interests included advanced 3-dimensional graphics processing and software engineering management.
Matt joined Bullfrog Productions in 1996 and quickly became Lead Programmer on the Theme title development team. Matt completed three consecutive titles in this role, including the project lead on Theme Park World. The engineering quality and timely delivery of each project was of paramount importance to the company and responsibility for meeting these goals rested largely with him.
Matt Chilton's first video game work that SPOnG is aware of is the 1997 title, "Theme Hospital" (PC) as Production. Of the titles listing Matt within the credits , "Theme Hospital" (PC) and "Theme Park World" (PC) have been best selling titles.
Matt's most recent involvement was as Programmer on the 1999 release "Theme Park World" (PC).
