Nick loves computers. We know because he told us in his submission to Quest. Let's hope his wife or girlfriend isn't reading this.
Nick started out in the industry as a freelance programmer, and in 1989, joined Goliath Games in Aberystwyth, Wales and it's been onwards and upwards ever since. Late 2000 sees him installed as Software Engineering Manager at Hasbro Interactive, and working on the follow up to Geoff Crammond's Grand Prix 3. His favourite platform is PC and game of choice is Quake 3.
Nick Thompson's first video game work that SPOnG is aware of is the 1992 title, "World Championship Boxing Manager" (Archimedes) . Of the titles listing Nick within the credits , "Grand Prix 3" (PC) has been a best selling title.
Nick's most recent involvement was as Lead Programmer on the 2000 release "Grand Prix 3" (PC).
