Summary

Tag Force has well and truly become a staple of any Yu-Gi-Oh fan's gaming diet, and with the fourth entry in the PSP series Konami is hoping to nudge the series in a new direction while remaining faithful to the core gameplay mechanics that have won fans over.

Tag Force 4 is the first game to embrace the Yu-Gi-Oh 5D animé series. It features characters and settings from the show, including the likes of Yusei Fudo, Jack Atlas, the Satellite District and Neo Domino City. The plot in the story mode borrows from the ‘Dark Signers’ episodes of the series, promising to plunge players further into the world of Yu-Gi-Oh! than ever. Konami has paid meticulous attention to the look of the animé, bringing the 14 duelists and massive cast of non-playable characters to life in a way you've never seen on your PSP before.

Each and every character in the game now holds their own deck, with the strength of their decks effectively providing built-in difficulty levels as players work their way up to become the duelling champion. It won't necessarily be a short road, however – there's a whopping total of 300 hours of gameplay to be had.

Konami has also introduced two-on-two duelling, making the title 'Tag Force' more appropriate than ever. Players can team up with their mates thanks to the PSP's wireless capability. The game can also spread out into the real world, with codes on real-life trading cards that will improve both your deck and your strategies!
