Summary

Invizimals: Shadow Zone is the sequel to one of the first PlayStation Portable augmented reality games: Invizimals. It brings the series' namesake characters out into the real world or, more accurately, brings the real world to them!

The game requires a PSP camera, which is used to put the gamer into the action, aka the 'Augmented Reality'. The gamer is thrust into a mysterious world where 100 characters lurk. This world is all the more mysterious given that it is set in the player's own home. This is where the augmented reality comes into play, and where videogames meet reality!

The idea is that the player must track down and capture the Invizimals in order to pit them against hidden enemies. This is achieved by pointing the PSP's camera around the home at various objects, whereby the player will be alerted to the existence of one of the critters. This can be achieved in single or two-player modes, so it doesn't have to be just you and the little fellas.

Once captured, it's the job of the player to train up his or her captive Invizimals and compete in tournaments and challenges to defeat the enemy.

The game takes the gamer around a variety of locations on the PSP's screen, bringing a whole new perspective to your everyday world. Your world is the Invizimals' world now!
