Attention To Detail began life in the front room of a house in September 1988. Started by 5 graduates from Birmingham University, the company grew to over 75 personnel occupying 12,000 sq. ft of converted barns in rural Warwickshire.
ATD is best known for its top 5 PlayStation hit, Rollcage, a futuristic racing game published worldwide by Psygnosis. The sequel, Rollcage Stage 2, was also a big hit, as was the amazing Sydney 2000 BAFTA award winning official Olympic Games video game. Notably, ATD also created a LEGO Racers attraction at LEGOLAND in Windsor, which opened in 2001.
ATD's first work that SPOnG is aware of is the 1987 title, "Super Sprint" (ST).
The company has been involved titles released on the PC, PS2, GameCube, PlayStation, Dreamcast, Saturn, Jaguar, Amiga, ST, Konix and C64. Of these, "Sydney 2000" (Dreamcast) and "Sydney 2000" (PlayStation) have been best selling titles.
The company's most recent involvement was on the 2003 release "Lego Drome Racers" (GameCube).
