Zipper Interactive, based in Redmond Washington, was founded by Jim Bosler and Brian Soderberg in 1995. The company focuses in developing 3D, real-time action, strategy and simulation games. Several team members were key designers and developers of SIMNET, used by the US military and NATO to simulate realistic missions.
Zipper Interactive's first work that SPOnG is aware of is the 1998 title, "MechWarrior 3" (PC).
The company has been involved titles released on the PC, PSVita, PS3, PS2 and PSP. Of these, "SOCOM: US Navy SEALs" (PS2), "SOCOM US Navy SEALs FireTeam Bravo" (PSP), "MAG" (PS3), "Unit 13" (PSVita) and "SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 2" (PSP) have been best selling titles.
The company's most recent involvement was on the 2012 release "Unit 13" (PSVita).
