N-Gen Racing - PlayStation

Aiming to fill, or possibly create a niche between car racing and air combat games, N-Gen Racing manages to pull off this feat more than admirably.
Selecting from a choice of real world aircraft, you have just three laps in which to prove that you're worthy of pole position.
This can only be achieved by flying the course at tree trimming altitudes, climbing occasionally to collect precious afterburner pickups. Missing checkpoints is also a serious business, as this is a "three strikes, you're out" affair.
Flying against the competition, and you have to deal with incoming fire whilst attempting to take out the opposition using the weapons pickups, stay low AND navigate the increasingly more claustrophobic valleys and ravines.
Progress through the game grants access to more advanced, yet more difficult aircraft. Alternatively, go head-to-head with a friend in a selection of two player modes. more
