Summary

Snowboarding is the coolest extreme sport, literally. There is no better feeling than hurtling down a mountain at breakneck speeds pulling off insane tricks. Not only does it feel fantastic but the scenery at high altitudes is breathtaking. Unfortunately, Snowboarding holidays are expensive and it takes many years to perfect the sport. Thanks to Pure Ride, you can now snowboard at any time of the year in the comfort of your own home. Albeit in a virtual way, Pure Ride simulates the thrills and spills of snowboarding perfectly.

MTV’s Pure Ride is an extremely fun game to play. It has a great learning curve, easy to pick up but difficult to master. The control method is well thought out and intuitive. In no time at all you’ll be pulling off big, impressive tricks and grinds. This is one game that is just dying to be played. The graphics and animation are well done and add to the realism of the game. With a little imagination, you can believe it’s actually you on the board rocketing down the slopes.

The mountains are huge, full of jumps to perfect you tricks on. There are several game modes to participate in, including the stunt mode and the tour challenge. If you successfully complete certain areas of the game you are rewarded with videos of proper snowboarding action. If you win the big-air event, you get the big-air video, for example. The music is excellent in pure ride, coming from MTV, can you expect anything less. On top of all this, you can even create your own custom mountain. Pure Ride is definitely one of the better Snowboarding games, check it out.
