Summary

In Power Stone 2, players are once again treated to the revolutionary gameplay that made the original a blockbuster success and introduces innovative elements including four-player fighting, multi-tiered progressive levels and a time challenge at the end of a round. Power Stone 2 includes unique levels that feature state-of-the-art graphics in both character and environment design.

Capcom know how to make great fighting games. Their track record speaks for itself, the Street Fighter 2 series has sold more than 20 million units worldwide. Power stone 2 proves that not only can Capcom make the transition to 3D quite comfortably but can also bring originality with them.

Power Stone 2 is an over the top, but extremely fun and playable game. You’ll be surprised at just how much you can do in this game. One of the levels involves you fighting over two battleships cruising along at top speed. Not only can you go for the assorted weapons appearing around the level but you can also jump into the massive cannons for maximum damage potential. At a certain time one of the ships disappears leaving you to fend for yourself in the icy water. Battles can even take place when you are skydiving, amazing.

Power Stone 2 really needs a big screen T.V. to be appreciated fully. There is so much detail in to this game and with four-players on screen at once there is a lot to take in. If you give Power Stone a chance, the original ideas, locations and addictive gameplay will make you a fan.
