Summary
The Epic Viking Saga Continues - Beautifully 2D hand drawn combat sequences and animations are further enhanced with special effects, once again accompanied by an evocative score from Grammy-nominated composer Austin Wintory.
Player Choice - The choices you make in Banner Saga affect who lives, who dies and how you can survive. If you played the first game, the choices you made will influence how you start Banner Saga 2. If you are new, or just want to take the default route, we have made some choices for you. Either way, hard choices are ahead.
New Characters and Races - As you continue on your journey, new friends, foes and would be allies come across your path. Will you accept them into your clan? Leave them to starve? Kill them where they stand? Allies are needed for your next fight, but supplies feed the clan. Where does the new race, the Horseborn, stand amongst this chaos?
Improved Combat with Consequences - An increase in enemy variety, different combat win scenarios, improved and more strategic battle boards, and additional story delivered while the battle wages on, improves an already challenging combat system. Permanent loss of characters will weigh heavy on your mind long after the battle is over.
The Journey is Half the Battle - Combat isn’t everything. You must manage your caravan as you travel the vast landscape. Determining how many warriors you have versus how many clansman you have is the difference of being able to survive the next battle or starve without enough harvesters. Every role is needed, but is everyone needed to succeed?
