Darren Barnett began his career as a Programmer in 1992 working on various multimedia titles. In 1996 he became Head of Programming for EMG when they began to develop game titles however all of these remained unreleased aside from Drowned God.
Subsequently he moved to Hasbro Interactive in to work as a Producer on the PSX version of Risk. Following this he moved to SCi working as a Producer on many of their titles. He became Development Manager for SCi in 2000 and subsequently Development Director in 2003.
Darren Barnett's first video game work that SPOnG is aware of is the 1997 title, "Drowned God: Conspiracy of the Ages" (PC) as Programmer. Of the titles listing Darren within the credits , "Conflict: Desert Storm II" (PS2), "Conflict: Desert Storm" (Xbox), "The Great Escape" (PS2), "The Great Escape" (Xbox), "Conflict: Desert Storm II" (Xbox) has been a best selling title.
Darren's most recent involvement was as Management on the 2004 release "Conflict: Desert Storm II" (GameCube).
