An electrical engineer by trade, Cris Blyth originally became connected to the games industry when he befriended Marcus Dyson through telephone calls to Amiga Format magazine.
When it transpired that Cris was a skilled 3D artist, he was called up to give freelance help with intro animation duties on Team17's Worms, and was immediately offered permanent position with the company. At Team17 he was responsible for lead animation on the X2 intro and Worms 2, after which he moved to California to work at Digital Domain in TV and movie post-production.
Cris Blyth's first video game work that SPOnG is aware of is the 1995 title, "Worms" (PlayStation) as Artist/Animator/Modeller. Of the titles listing Cris within the credits , "Worms 2" (PC) and "Worms Armageddon" (PlayStation) have been best selling titles.
Cris's most recent involvement was as FMV/Video on the 1999 release "Worms Armageddon" (PlayStation).
